A Bit About Me
I am a life-long DMV resident and have taught all around the DMV from Southeast, DC to Bethesda, MD. I love teaching elementary-aged children and have spent most of my career mastering the art of teaching and productively engaging children both virtually and in-person.
I am a 13th year K-3 educator as well as a certified IMSE Orton-Gillingham practitioner specializing in teaching students with Dyslexia and students in need of intensive reading and writing intervention.
I have ample experience in both virtual 1:1 and small group tutoring and have developed proven strategies to maximize engagement and increase academic outcomes.

My Experience and Methodology
I utilize a variety of Multi-tiered Systems of Support and Response to Intervention strategies to help learners with different needs find independence and success in and out of the classroom. I have years of experience implementing Wilson FUNdations, Handwriting Without Tears, Guided Reading programs, and Science of Reading small groups. In addition to my work with the language arts I also provide 1:1 tutoring and support with math for students in grades K-3.
